Lou Stein Associates Ltd was formed in 2000 in order to actively develop and produce plays, and to find investment partners for theatrical and educational projects which are off the mainstream track and usually offer a strong music element. The company’s directors, Lou Stein (theatre and media) and Deirdre Gribbin (music) use their performance knowledge in their respective fields to forge new partner collaborations which have the potential to appeal to new audiences.

Lou Stein Studio

Lou has launched his inclusive performance studio (Lou Stein Studio) for the training of young actors with cognitive challenges to help get them into the workplace.

This unique performance training programme will also seek to work with businesses who see the value in taking the opportunity to engage with this eager and under-used segment of the work force.
 

Lou Stein is an award-winning London based Theatre Director/Writer who most recently was Artistic Director of the inclusive theatre company Chickenshed, and past (founding) Artistic Director of the Gate Theatre (London) and Artistic Director of Watford Palace Theatre.

Deirdre Gribbin is known for her expert work as collaborative composer and educator with a string of awards to her name. She is an alumnus of Guildhall School of Music and is a lecturer at Trinity-Laban Conservatoire and is on the professorial staff of the Royal College of Music. She is the visionary artist behind the Venus Blazing Music Trust.
